Sekolah Lapang

Sekolah Lapang is actually a critical education concept, which emphasizes participants to learn and produce knowledge from their own experiences, not memorizing theories, rules and formulas made by others. The facilitator and participants must consider that each participant already has knowledge and experience or is "not empty" when participating in the training. The training is only a tool to construct the knowledge they already have, and have a dialogue with other fellow trainees and become the basis for mutual understanding for the parties. This material was created in order to invite participants to practice thinking about something, discuss together, and help participants find conclusions or answers, so that community facilitators can find problems in the village and can also find the right solution for the problem.
