Job Vacancy – Finance Coordinator and Accounting Staff

HuMa Indonesia (HuMa) is a non-governmental non-profit that focuses its programs and activities on efforts to strengthen the rights of local communities/indigenous peoples over their natural resources through legal education, advocacy of policy change, documenting conflicts and the spread of information through the production of books, bulletins, website, CDs, and posters. HuMa currently working in various regions in Indonesia and in collaboration with a number of partners in the region.

HuMa is looking for experienced candidates to sit in the position as Head of Finance and Accounting Staff with full-time work scheme per year, including experiments during the first 3 months; Extension will be based on job performance.

 

Responsibility and the main task of the Head of Finance are:

  1. Develop budgeting ‘integrated and multi-year’.
  2. Set the program and institutional funding strategy that has been set by the leadership, both in order to manage money in and money out and make sure the entire responsibility of use of money in accordance with the standards of financial management HuMa.
  3. Prepare financial reports both to progress uptake running program budget, as well as the annual financial statements.
  4. Prepare and facilitate the implementation of the program and institutional fund audits every year in cooperation with public accounting firm.
  5. Calculate and settle tax transaction (PPH 21).

 

Qualification requirements (minimum):

  • Male/Female.
  • Minimum education S1 Financial Management/Accounting.
  • Honest, thorough and able to work in a team and be willing to work outside of the city if necessary.
  • Experience working in the NGO at least 3 years as Finance Manager/Financial Officer.
  • Able to work under pressure job target.
  • Experience in managing multi-donor funds and multi-program.
  • Understanding the regulation of taxation in Indonesia.
  • Understand the institution’s financial audit procedures.
  • Able to communicate well and can speak English both spoken and written.
  • Ability to work in team.
  • Experience in financial administration, funded by the EU, UK Aid and financial control of the computerized system SANGO or QuickbBooks preferred.

 

Responsibility and the main task of the Accounting Staff are:

  1. Implement the recording of financial transactions according to the standard operating procedures and financial data processing system.
  2. To ensure the validity of documents and evidence of financial transactions.
  3. Keep a journal, archive documents properly.
  4. Maintain the integrity of audit tracking, ranging from recording financial transactions to the financial statements.
  5. Assist chief financial officer for the smooth external audit; reconciling bank records according to newspaper accounts and recording on internal bank book.

 

Qualification requirements (minimum):

  • Male/Female.
  • Minimum Diploma of Accounting.
  • Honest, thorough and able to work in a team and be willing to work outside of the city if necessary.
  • Experience working in the NGO at least 3 years as a staff accounting/finance.
  • Able to work under pressure job target.
  • Experience in managing multi-donor funds and multi-program.
  • Have specific skills in the computerized system of financial SANGO or preferred QuickbBooks.
  • Can work in teams.
