About HuMa Indonesia Association:
HuMa Indonesia Association is a non-profit organization that focuses on legal reform, particularly in the field of natural resources. We emphasize the importance of recognizing the rights of indigenous and local communities over natural resources, preserving ecological sustainability, and advocating for human rights values and social justice.
We are looking for a Secretary who is organized and has a concern for social-environmental issues to support the smooth operation of our organization’s work.
Job Description:
1. Managing and arranging daily schedules, leadership meeting agendas, and appointments with various stakeholders.
2. Receiving, filtering, and directing institutional correspondence letters and emails, ensuring smooth internal and external communication flow.
3. Preparing, organizing, and managing the filing of letters, emails, and documents, both physically and digitally.
4. Taking minutes in internal organization meetings and distributing follow-up notes (minutes of meeting) to relevant parties.
5. Acting as a language translator in strategic organizational meetings.
Qualifications:
1. Have good communication skills (verbal and written) in English.
2. Minimum D3 education in Secretarial, Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or other relevant majors.
3. Minimum 1 year of work experience in administration/secretarial field.
4. Experience working in Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Foundations, or Civil Society Organizations will be a significant added value.
5. Have an interest and basic understanding of human rights and eco-social justice issues.
6. Proficient in using office productivity software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and online communication tools.
7. Have very good time management skills, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision.
8. Have high integrity in maintaining the confidentiality of institutional documents and strategic data.
