HuMa Indonesia Association (HuMa) is a non-profit non-governmental organization that focuses its programs and activities on efforts to strengthen the rights of local communities/indigenous peoples over natural resources through legal education, advocacy for policy change, conflict documentation, and information dissemination, both through the production of books, bulletins, websites, CDs, and posters. Currently, HuMa works in various regions in Indonesia and collaborates with several partners in the area.
HuMa is currently looking for experienced candidates to fill positions as Chief Financial Officer and Accounting Staff with a full-time annual work scheme, including a three-month probation period; Extensions will be based on performance.
The main responsibilities and duties of the Chief Financial Officer are:
- Preparing ‘integrated and multi-year budgeting’.
- Managing the financing strategy of programs and institutions established by the leadership, both to manage incoming and outgoing funds, and to ensure all accountabilities for fund usage comply with HuMa’s financial management standards.
- Preparing financial reports, both for the progress of budget absorption in ongoing programs and for annual financial reports.
- Preparing and facilitating the implementation of annual program and institutional fund audits conducted in collaboration with a Public Accountant Office.
- Calculating and settling Corporate Tax and Employee Income Tax (Income Tax Article 21).
Minimum qualification requirements:
- Male/Female.
- Minimum education of S1 in Financial Management/Accounting.
- Honest, detail-oriented, able to work in a team, and willing to work outside the city if required.
- Minimum three years of experience working in an NGO, as a Financial Manager/Financial Officer.
- Able to work under work target pressure.
- Experience in managing multi-donor and multi-program funds.
- Understanding of tax regulations in Indonesia.
- Understanding of institutional financial audit procedures.
- Good communication skills, proficient in spoken and written English.
- Able to work in a team.
- Experience in financial administration funded by EU, UK Aid, and proficient in SANGO or QuickBooks financial computerized systems are preferred.
