HuMa Indonesia Association (HuMa) is a non-profit non-governmental organization that focuses its programs and activities on empowering the rights of local communities/indigenous peoples over natural resources, through legal education, advocacy for policy change, conflict documentation, and information dissemination, through the production of books, bulletins, website, and posters. HuMa works in various regions in Indonesia and collaborates with several partners in the regions.

HuMa is currently looking for an experienced candidate for the position of Finance Manager, with a full-time work scheme for 1 (one) year, with a probation period of the first 6 (six) months. Performance during the probation period will be considered for contract extension.

 

The main responsibilities and tasks are:

1. Developing annual and five-year budget plans for programs and institutional activities.
2. Managing all program and institutional budgets.
3. Preparing financial reports, both for the progress of ongoing program budget absorption and annual financial reports.
4. Preparing and facilitating the implementation of program and institutional fund audits.
5. Calculating and settling Corporate Taxes and Employee Income Taxes (Income Tax Article 21).
6. Developing financial management standards for HuMa, in accordance with non-profit organization accounting standards and to support program implementation effectiveness.
7. Leading and supervising finance staff.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree.
• Have leadership skills and able to work in a team.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a finance manager in a non-profit organization.
• Experience in managing multi-donor funds and programs, preferably experience in managing European Union funds.
• Understanding of tax regulations in Indonesia.
• Understanding of institutional financial audit procedures.
• Able to develop program financing strategies.
• Proficient in financial accounting program systems SANGO or QuickBooks.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Able to communicate effectively.
• Able to work under work target pressure.
