The Association for Community and Ecological-Based Legal Reform (HuMa) in collaboration with the Indonesia Nature Film Society (INFIS) will hold a Discussion and Film Launching event titled “Customary Forests After the Constitutional Court Decision No. 35 of 2012 stating that Customary Forests are no longer part of State Forests.”

This film contains explanations and affirmations from state officials, legal experts, and indigenous communities regarding the Constitutional Court Decision No. 35. It portrays the conditions of customary forests that have been claimed by indigenous communities and the conflicts surrounding them.
HuMa attempts to summarize various opinions on how the implementation of Constitutional Court Decision 35 regarding customary forests is depicted in a film. The film includes interviews with various stakeholders such as the Minister of Forestry (Zulkifli Hasan), Head of the National Land Agency (Hendarman Supanji), Komnas HAM (Sandra Moniaga), Prof. San Afri Awang (Expert Staff of the Ministry of Forestry), Forestry Expert from IPB (Prof. Hariadi Kartodiharjo), Epistema Institute (Myrna A.
