The legal politics of natural resources are the principles of managing natural resources that are established as the official policy guidelines of the state regarding the law, in order to form and enforce laws in the field of natural resources, to achieve the greatest prosperity of the people, as mandated by Article 33 paragraph (3) of the 1945 Constitution which states that, “The land, water, and natural resources contained therein are controlled by the state and utilized for the greatest prosperity of the people.”
What is the current condition? We will discuss it through the following materials.

Here is an excerpt of expert testimony by Mr. Noer Fauzi Rahman, a member of the Indonesian HuMa Association, at the Judicial Review of the Forestry Law at the Constitutional Court, on June 6, 2012. This testimony is titled ““Correcting the Nationalization of Customary Land“. He dissected the forestry politics in Indonesia.
